Before there was a restaurant, there was a family kitchen. Growing up in Jamaica, Tony learned by helping his mother prepare meals — the same recipes that would one day make Tony's the best Jamaican food in Pflugerville.
After moving to Austin, he worked in construction and shared home-cooked lunches with coworkers. Their encouragement helped turn his passion into Tony's Jamaican Food — now known for the best jerk chicken and oxtail in Central Texas.
Those family recipes still shape every plate, with Tony's own approach to Caribbean spices and ingredients that keeps guests coming back from across the Austin area.
